The OccluSense® CenterFix was developed specifically for the OccluSense® system and serves as a centering aid to precisely align the sensor along the upper incisor line between the two central incisors. This maintains a consistent sensor position for each measurement, leading to improved reproducibility. The CenterFix is slipped over the sensor before use and before inserting the sensor into the device. The consistent sensor positioning facilitates the assignment of recorded pressure distributions to the corresponding teeth in the OccluSense iPad app. This enhances the analysis and interpretation of recorded data and ensures a more accurate assessment of occlusal contacts.
