Kwik-Bite is a film holder and support for phosphor plates for horizontal bites (standard bites). It is used to evaluate proximal caries, excess and gaps, crown margins, and calculus in interdental spaces, as well as the condition of the alveolar ridge. Radiographs are guaranteed without overlap, thus eliminating the need for unnecessary repeat X-ray exposures and allowing for direct comparison of radiographs taken of the same patient over time. It is autoclavable at 134°C for a minimum of 3 minutes. Kwik-Bite is compatible with the most common X-ray film formats (1, 2, 3). The Kwik-Bite with ring is also suitable for indirect digital systems. It is compatible with major brands of phosphor plate sensors.
