To achieve optimal color matching with natural tooth structure, various types of ceramics are available, such as glass, zirconia, and feldspathic ceramics. These materials are used for (temporary) crowns, as well as inlays and onlays, and can be highly polished to achieve exceptional aesthetics. However, dentists face challenges when adjusting occlusion with these highly polished materials, which are often produced using CAD/CAM technologies, as traditional occlusion trial materials are often ineffective. To effectively identify premature contacts, we have intensively addressed this issue and opted for the proven shade GREEN, which has been used for decades in dental practice. This shade offers the decisive advantage of being clearly visible and rich in contrast on the aesthetically polished surfaces of these ceramics, thanks to special color pigments. Our Arti-Ceram product is available in two thicknesses, 200 µm and 100 µm, in strips and in a horseshoe shape, and allows for precise occlusion adjustment to ensure the best possible function and aesthetics.
