Characteristics
These specially designed packers enhance the ease and efficiency of packing Ultrapak woven cord. The fine ends are inserted into the woven cord, and their serrated teeth prevent the instrument from slipping and cutting the gingival attachment. The serrated instruments are ideal for axial packing of these cords, while the non-serrated, sliding packers are more suitable for horizontal sliding motions. Both packers are available in two sizes, and their ends are oriented at a 45° angle to the handle—right and left, respectively—to allow for circular packing of the preparation without needing to rotate the instrument to use one end or the other.
